Interested in getting a PSP Go but is waiting for its price to drop to something more reasonable and affordable? This might be your chance. Sony has come up with a method for you to get US$ 50 off their new handheld, along with a PlayStation Card.

Okay, it sounds pretty and all, but just in case you stopped reading at "get US$ 50 off", I suggest you read on. The catch is that you have to apply for the PlayStation Card. If your application gets approved, you will receive a US$ 50 card credit which you can use when purchasing your PSP Go. Oh, by the way, to get that credit, you have to "spend a total of US$ 200 or more over four (4) months".

So, let's do some quick math here. US$ 200 (PS credit card) + US$ 199 (PSP Go) = US$ 399. The PSP Go is at US$ 249. But hey, at US$ 249, you don't have a credit card. And you know what not having a credit card means: no credit to worry about.

Yeah, it sure is a good deal, you think?

Famitsu.com has broken the news on a new entry in Taito's Estpolis series. If the name doesn't ring a bell, the series was released outside Japan as "Lufia". The new game will be called Estpolis: The Land Cursed by the Gods and will be produced by the original game's development staff. Square Enix will be handling publishing duties.

The Famitsu piece didn't reveal any details -- not even target platforms -- but given the series' strong ties to Nintendo hardware a release on the Big N's consoles are a good possibility. Well, there was that one PSOne game but that got canceled...

We'll find out more in the next Famitsu issue due out next week. That one will reportedly feature a full unveiling of the game.

On a side note, I'm happy Square Enix didn't go the countdown route for this one. I'm seriously sick of those.

Sony's apparently been handing out survey forms to customers, asking them to pick out what new colors they'd like on their PSP Gos. The options vary from Bright Yellow, to Coral, to Ocean Blue and more.

Piano Black and Pearl White are also included in the options, the two stock colors. Did you come across the said survey? It was created by Hall & Partners Europe, and it was posted on the site Valued Opinions.
